GOOD NEWS: PEACE WITH GOD
The gospel is good news about Jesus Christ. He died for our sins and rose again to bring us to God. Forgiveness and new life are his gift, received by faith. You are welcome to explore that hope.
Made for God
There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He made a good world and made every person in his image, with dignity and worth. We were made to know and love him and our neighbors. God is holy: perfectly good, just, and free from evil. (Genesis 1:26–31; Matthew 22:37–39; Matthew 28:19)
We have turned away
We have all sinned: turned from God’s good rule in what we think, desire, do, and leave undone. Our lies, cruelty, pride, and neglect reveal a deep trouble. Sin corrupts our hearts, harms our neighbors, and leaves us guilty before God. (Romans 3:9–23)
Because God is just, evil will face his judgment. Neither good deeds nor religious effort can erase our guilt. We need forgiveness and a new heart. We need a Savior. (Romans 6:23; Titus 3:3–7)
God has come to us in Jesus
Out of love, the Father sent his eternal Son. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, born of the Virgin Mary. He knew hunger, grief, and temptation, yet lived without sin. He welcomed sinners and showed us God’s goodness. (John 1:1–14; John 3:16–17; Luke 1:26–35; Hebrews 4:15)
Christ died for our sins
Jesus willingly gave his life on the cross. The innocent Savior bore our sins and the judgment they deserve, so that guilty people could be forgiven and brought to God. His sacrifice is complete. The cross is God’s own love at work to save us. (Isaiah 53:5–6; Romans 5:6–9; 1 Peter 3:18; Hebrews 10:10–14)
Christ is risen
Jesus truly died and was buried. On the third day he rose bodily from the dead. His disciples saw him alive. He reigns as Lord, and death will not have the last word over those who belong to him. We trust a living Savior. (1 Corinthians 15:3–8, 20–26; Acts 2:32–36)
Saved by grace through faith
We are saved by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Grace is his undeserved kindness. Faith means relying on Jesus and what he has done to save us. The Bible says, For by grace you have been saved through faith
(Ephesians 2:8, ESV).
God forgives and accepts us because of Christ, not because we have earned his favor. His Holy Spirit gives new life and teaches us to love and obey him. Good works are the fruit of salvation, never its price. (Romans 3:21–28; Ephesians 2:8–10)
Turn to Christ and trust him
Jesus calls us to repent and believe. Repentance means turning from sin toward God: admitting our wrong and giving up our excuses. Faith means entrusting ourselves to Jesus as Savior and Lord. You do not need to repair your life before coming to him; you come for mercy and help to change. (Mark 1:15; Luke 18:9–14)
Speak to God honestly. Confess your sins, ask his forgiveness, and trust Jesus who died and rose again. No special prayer, religious act, or powerful feeling saves you. Christ saves. His promise is welcoming: whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

A new life and a living hope
Following Jesus is a life shared with his people. In a faithful local church, we hear Scripture, pray, practice baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and learn to love and serve. These belong to a life flowing from grace. (Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 2:41–47)
Jesus will return to judge the world and make all things new. Those who belong to him will be raised to life with him, free from sin, sorrow, and death. This is the hope he offers. (John 5:24–29; Revelation 21:1–5)
